South of France – Summer abundance

I arrived in the south of France about ten days ago and time and time again I’m amazed by the beauty and the colors of the Provence. This time of year the weather is perfect, not too hot, yet warm enough to take a dip in the pool and lie in the sun. Our garden is filled with fruit and flowers, from cherries and almonds, grapes and figs to the sweet scent of oleander and hydrangea. And while the scent of lavender sweeps across the garden, the sycamore tree offers a recluse from the afternoon heat. So glad to be back!
